Abhinav Kapoor, the handsome and suave actor, who has shows like Kahe Na Kahe and Karam Apna Apna to his credit, is all set to return to the small screen after a hiatus. The talented actor will be seen in Sony Entertainment’s Adaalat essaying a character loosely inspired from the god of cricket Sachin Tendulkar.
The master blaster was recently in news for having scored his 100th ton. And taking a cue from this, Adaalat’s next episode will revolve around Joy Sen, a cricketing legend, who has 99 centuries to his credit and the world is awaiting his 100th century. And just when he is about to accomplish this feat, he will be accused of a murder. JD (Ronit Roy) will come to his rescue and will decide to fight his case. Abhinav Kapoor will play the character of Joy Sen.
When Tellychakkar.com contacted Abhinav, he confirmed the news and said, “I am delighted to play this character as in real life I am a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar and in Adaalat I am getting a chance to portray a role similar to him. I am also having a great time shooting on a cricket field as it reminds me of those days when I used to play for a celebrity cricket team, Indian Telly Squad.”
